It smelled too intoxicating not to use it. I love how she adds the tags with quotes to the bars of soap. As you can see, the quote that this bar came with was "Marry me first," as spoken by Edward. The bar itself is a delight to use. It has a natural tan or light brown coloring. It has a rich creamy lather that gets my skin squeaky clean, and the fragrance actually lingers on my skin for a good while. The best part, of course, is the scent. If Edward was real, I truly think that she has captured what he would smell like. The sweet scent of honey is the first note you smell, and then the lilacs which aren't too overly floral. Then comes the sun... I can't be sure what combination of fragrances she used in her interpretation of the scent of sunshine, but I am sure that she chose well. Something about it reminds me of brown sugar or cinnamon, but my nose could be wrong.
Overall, the soap has a strongly intoxicating scent, which is just how Edward is described in the book. The smell is hard to resist, and even my husband loves it. We are on our second bar already, and I'm positive that we'll be ordering many more to come.
